If I put together another portfolio of images, these will be in it.

10 more days

10 more days

and I’m back on my feet.  I feel a record coming on, I’m beginning to like the EP alot more than the complete album.  An album seems like work and an EP seems like fun…kind of like writing one chapter rather than an entire book.

When I was a freshman in high school I had the not so brilliant idea to join the football team.  I trained every MWF during the summer by running laps, hills and lifting weights.  By the end of the summer I had grown six inches and gained a considerable amount of muscle to reach 5″2 and [...]

I played my nephew Miles Davis, Birth of Cool this morning and this afternoon he plucked his first notes on guitar.  Coincidence?  I doubt it.

If Only

If Only

Is the name of my next album, I started demoing it today and realized how much work went into the last 6 months. The last album was the hardest thing task I’ve ever set out to do and in some ways this one looks to be 10x harder. I was going to leave it alone [...]

Perfect

Perfect

I spent the whole weekend with Declan and didn’t take a single picture of him.  I realized if we’re hanging out, I’m burping him and making him laugh; that trumps any moment I can capture by shoving a lens in his face.

I’m putting together a new set of work.  This is a shape of lines to come.

4-16-10

I started shooting at 7:00 and I got back to my car at 8:27.  This left 32 minutes for me to get to PT and I still had to go home to change.  Somehow I made it on time without  driving like a prick.  I thought Ann would go easy on me (more like I [...]

I only got stuck twice driving around for these pictures.
